The hypnotic crash of the waves begins to lull you as you recline and soak in the warm sun rays, until you hear someone begin to approach. You open your eyes to the pool attendant making their way to your cabana, a coconut drink held out for you to take.
You accept it, and watch as the Cabana Boy walk away, the sun's rays covering in them in a light sheen of sweat, and their musky cologne wafts back towards you; leather, tobacco leaves, peppercorn, and the barest woody note of sandalwood drenched in clove and allspice.
You lean back and enjoy the refreshing cool drink in the shade of the waning day.
